Loudoun restaurant changes name to Bandidos Chicken & Bar

A Loudoun County restaurant has undergone a name change and – at least to us – it sounds like a good one. The new restaurant is called Bandidos Chicken & Bar.

The new sign has gone up on the facade at Bandidos, which is located in the Fort Evans Plaza II shopping center off Fort Evans Road NE.

The former name of the restaurant is Pollo Inti 2. Both the previous incarnation and the new incarnation still specialize in Peruvian cuisine – dishes such as Pollo a la Brasa (spit-roasted chicken), Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice), and Ceviche de Pescado.

You can check out the full Bandidos Chicken & Bar menu at the bottom of this story.

We’re told the menu is the same as the previous restaurant and the establishment still has the same owners. So basically, it is a rebrand.

Bandidos is Spanish for “bandits” or “outlaws” and there is a fresh new logo to go with the name change. The name is a little more “fun” than the previous incarnation and adding “Chicken & Bar” certainly makes it clearer what the restaurant is offering.

It is important to note – there is another Pollo Inti over in the Sugarland Crossing retail plaza in Sterling.

This may or may not have been the original Pollo Inti, but regardless, staff tells us the two restaurants have different owners and the name of the Sterling location has not changed.
