Dash In exploring possible new location in Loudoun

The Dash In gas station and convenience store brand has its eyes on a possible new spot in Loudoun County. That’s according to documents filed with the county.

There has long been a proposed gas station and “c-store” for the Ashburn Crossing development near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Gloucester Parkway, but no definitive movement.

Now, paperwork submitted to the county shows that a Dash In is under consideration for that spot. It’s important to note – this is very early in the process and this may or may not move forward.

The plans call for a one-story retail building, gas pumps with an overhead canopy, and a car wash.

Dash In currently has roughly 50 locations in Maryland, Deleware, and Virginia, including several in the Richmond area.

But here in Northern Virginia, there is only one location so far, according to the company’s website. It’s in Loudoun County off Highway 50 near South Riding and Stone Ridge.

As The Burn has reported previously, Dash In has plans to expand in the area and has been actively looking in Loudoun County for some time. A previously proposed spot along Belmont Ridge Road did not move forward.

The brand is similar in vibe to a Wawa. Many locations include a full fast-food restaurant on the premises, as well as a retail store with a sizable wine selection.

As we said – nothing solid that this new proposed location in Ashburn will happen. We’ll keep an eye on it and let you know if it’s a go.
