A new restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine has announced when it will start its soft opening in Ashburn. We’re talking about the upcoming Hashtag India.
The big day will be next Thursday, October 16. That’s per a post on the restaurant’s social media.
The Burn first reported on Hashtag India last month. The Texas-based brand is taking over the space left vacant when the Akshaya Patra restaurant closed in the Broadlands Village Center.
Based on other locations, the Hashtag India menu specializes in mandis. That’s a dish that originated on the Arabian peninsula and is served in many parts of the Middle East and beyond.
It’s similar to a biryani – featuring slow-cooked meats served atop aromatic rice. Hashtag India offers vegetarian mandis, chicken and egg mandis, seafood mandis, and more.
They also have many other popular Indian dishes including naans, kebabs, biryanis, curries, and more.
