A new ice cream shop and cafe that boasts some 50 flavors of ice cream has signed a lease in Fairfax. It’s called Dumont Creamery & Cafe.
It appears this will be the first location in Northern Virginia and the greater DC market for the Dumont brand, which has locations in Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, and California. The company has its roots in India.
Dumont Creamery & Cafe will be coming to the Greenbriar Town Center shopping plaza on Highway 50 in Fairfax. That’s the same center where the Chicken Salad Chick restaurant opened late last year.
Dumont has a wide variety of intriguing sounding ice cream flavors. The list includes Hokey Pokey, Mint Basil Sorbet, Ferrero, Strawberry Chunks, and Festive Cake.
The shop also has boba drinks and coffee beverages. You can see a little more about the menu here.
No word yet on when Dumont Creamery & Cafe will open its store in NoVa, but now we know they are on their way.
