Reston’s new Corsica Wine Bar launches brunch menu

The new Corsica Wine Bar that opened to much acclaim back in September has now expanded its hours and service with a weekend brunch.

The brunch – which launched this past weekend – goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday.

As regular readers know – Corsica Wine Bar is located in the Reston Town Center. A sister concept to the nearby Barcelona Wine Bar, Corsica also specializes in tapas sized dishes and sharable plates.

Some of the new brunch dishes that Corsica is highlighting include a Smoked Salmon Benedict with creamy bearnaise; the house Omelette made with goat cheese and peperonata; Pain Perdu with warm maple syrup, vanilla whipped cream and apples; and a Smoked Bacon with maquis honey.

They are also touting some “boozy” brunch beverages such as the Staycation with tequila, manzanilla, lime, cherry tomato, terragon, and olive oil; the Morning Glory with gin, elderflower, bubbly Barcava, lemon and orange blossom; and the Citron Sunrise, a frozen citron pressé with chamomile, cappelletti and sparkling wine.

You can see the full Corsica Wine Bar brunch menu below – but keep in mind, the menu is ever evolving at Corsica, so new items could pop up at any time.
