We knew it was getting close – and now we have the official date of the grand opening for the new Wonder food hall in Reston.
The fast-growing national brand has announced it will hold an opening celebration on Thursday, October 30 at its new spot in the Plaza America center off Sunset Hills Road.
There will be a ribbon cutting around 4:30 p.m. or so before the doors officially open around 5 p.m.
The news is of special note to Loudoun County residents because it was just yesterday that The Burn broke the news of plans for a Wonder food hall in Leesburg. You can see that story here.
The Wonder model isn’t your typical food hall. Instead, it’s a single restaurant space that serves up dishes from restaurant brands around the country.

The announced brands for the Reston store are: Tejas Barbecue (BBQ), Fred’s Meat & Bread (sandwiches), Yasas (Greek), Limesalt (Mexican), Sweetbird (fried chicken), Alanza Pizza (pizza), Wing Trip (chicken wings), and Burger Baby (burgers and fries).
There will be a small dining room at the Reston Wonder, but carryout and delivery are a big part of the company’s business model.
