A popular beverage purveyor at local farmers markets and community events is going to open a pop-up store at One Loudoun in Ashburn.
CloudFizz will be taking over a corner unit near the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater that used to be occupied by Firehouse Subs.
The menu at CloudFizz features dozens of so-called “dirty sodas.” They start with popular soda pops as a base – Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, etc. – and then mix in all types of flavors and top them off with a creamy cold foam.
For example, the Butterscotch Bliss features Coca-Cola with butterscotch syrup, vanilla syrup, and a classic cream foam on top.
The Peachy Root has root beer mixed with peach syrup, vanilla syrup, and topped with a coconut cloud foam. You can see the full curated CloudFizz menu here.
The name “dirty sodas” is a play on the dirty martini which has olive juice mixed in, but “dirty sodas” are sans alcohol and family friendly.
No opening date has been set yet, but the owner tells us it should be soon. Just waiting on some final permitting. If things go well with the CloudFizz pop-up store, it could become a permanent location.
