Well, for heaven’s sake! It must be the Year of the Bagel because yet another new bagel shop is getting ready to open in Loudoun County.
The Burn has learned that a Bobby’s Bagel Cafe is in the works for a Sterling shopping center.
Bobby’s will be taking a nearly 2,400 s.f. space in the Countryside Marketplace center. That’s the center with the Lotte Plaza Market at the corner of Countryside Boulevard and Route 7.
It will going into the end unit that used to be occupied by Countryside Cafe & Pizzeria (and Delia’s Pizzeria before that).
Bobby’s Bagel Cafe is a local brand with three area locations, according to the company’s website. One each in Herndon, Reston, and Oakton. Now, Sterling is apparently next up on the list.
The menu at Bobby’s features classic bagels, gourmet bagels, rainbow bagels, and more. They have bagel & lox boards, and bagel sandwiches. You can check out the Bobby’s Bagel Cafe menu here.
New bagel shops have definitely been making headlines lately.
As The Burn has reported, a new Bkd Bagels recently opened in Brambleton in Ashburn. Bagel Chick Bakery is coming to Purcellville. And recently we told you about Torus Bagels in the works for the Ashburn Village Shopping Center.
No word on when Bobby’s Bagel Cafe in Sterling might open, but count on us to keep you posted.
