The windows are papered over, the permits are in place and work has officially started on Loudoun County’s first Crimson Coward restaurant.
As The Burn has been reporting since we first broke the news in May, Crimson Coward is coming to Leeburg’s Bellewood Commons shopping plaza.
That’s at the corner of Plaza Street and East Market Street. It’s the same center with the Dunkin’ and The Melt burger joint.
Crimson Coward is a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and chicken wings.
The brand has 19 locations around the country including a bunch here in the greater DMV.
Last we heard from the team at Crimson Coward, they were hoping to open sometime this fall. No word yet if that target is still in play or if the opening will push into 2026.
