Just a quick update for you tonight on a story The Burn told readers about a couple of weeks ago – the plans to rebrand the Leesburg Bowlero as a Lucky Strike bowling alley and entertainment center.
The name change has officially happened. New signage now hangs over the entrance to the bowling lanes found at the Village of Leesburg center off Route 7.
And online, the lanes are now part of the Lucky Strike list of locations.
The decision isn’t a surprise – both the Bowlero and Lucky Strike brands are owned by the same parent company, and recently, many Bowlero locations have been switching to Lucky Strike – including the company’s location in Sterling.
No details on any specific changes, but the Lucky Strike website suggests that new food menus, new cocktail menus and other features will be updated and/or upgraded with the changeover to Lucky Strike.
This isn’t the first name change for the bowling alley. When it originally opened, it was known as King Pinz.
