The Elysium Axe Bar venue in Purcellville has announced that it will close its doors at the end of the year. New Year’s Eve will be its last day – and the team there plans to go out with a bang.
“After much thought, we have made the decision not to renew our lease and will be closing Elysium at the end of this year. Though this chapter is coming to a close, it has been one of the greatest adventures of our lives, and you all made it that way,” the owners posted to social media.
Elysium opened at its current spot at 251 North 21st Street back in the summer of 2022. That’s on the back side of Monk’s BBQ.
Elysium has offered axe throwing, of course, as well as food, beverages, and party space.
The venue will remain open for the rest of the year, with extended holiday hours and a final celebration on New Year’s Eve.
