Earlier this month, the headline on The Burn read “BurgerFi closes permanently at the Village at Leesburg” – but apparently there was more to the story. Turns out the closure may not be so permanent after all.
Multiple signs have since gone up on the front of the store boldly declaring the BurgerFi restaurant in the Village at Leesburg lifestyle center will be “reopening soon” and “under new management.”
This is happy news for the many fans of BurgerFi who were saddened when the previous operators announced they were closing after 13 years in business.
No re-opening date has been announced yet, but a peek in the windows show nothing has changed.
All the furniture and fixtures are still there just waiting for the next team to come in and bring the burger joint back to life.
