Guacado Mexican Grill moving into NoVa with new restaurant

A fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain has apparently picked Loudoun County for its first location in Virginia. It’s called Guacado Mexican Grill.

According to the landlord, Guacado will be taking a roughly 2,000 s.f. endcap corner space in the AutoZone Center in Leesburg.

That’s the center at East Market Street and Fort Evans Road SE with the AutoZone store and the new Aurora Seafood & Grill Buffet.

Guacado appears to be based in New York, where most of its locations are currently. There is also one in Maryland with another one on the way there.

The menu follows the build-your-own concept where customers choose a base – which includes options such as bowls, burritos, tacos, nachos, salad, and even French fries.

Then you pick from a list of proteins that includes grilled shrimp, grilled steak, beef barbacoa, and tofu.

You then top your dish with a variety of fresh toppings and sauces. You can see more about the Guacado Mexican Grill menu here.

No word yet on when Guacado might open in Leesburg, so stay tuned.
