The Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings restaurant off Highway 50 in southern Loudoun County officially started its soft opening today.
It’s located in the East Gate Marketplace shopping center, also home to a Harris Teeter grocery store, a Velocity Wings and a Ford’s Fish Shack.
Hangry Joe’s took over the space that used to be a Marco’s Pizza. The inside has been given a new look while outside the owners are still waiting to have their permanent sign installed.
The Burn had lunch at the new location. While the size of the breaded chicken filet on the sandwiches sometimes borders on the obscene, it’s nevertheless a filling and satisfying meal.
This is the fourth Hangry Joe’s location in Loudoun County, after stores in Ashburn, Sterling, and Leesburg.
