Report: Puttshack deal falls through at Reston Station

It looks like plans for an upscale Puttshack indoor miniature golf venue in Reston could be kaput – at least for now. That’s according to a report from our friends at FFXNow.com.

As regular readers know, the Reston Station development at the Wiehle Avenue exit off 267 continues to grow.

A Tour Les Jours bakery and restaurant recently opened. The new JW Marriott hotel with its in-house restaurant The Simon recently opened as well.

Two more restaurants are in the works. A Noku Sushi should be opening soon and the Ebbitt House from the Clyde’s Restaurant Group is under construction.

However, the previously announced plans for a Puttshack have apparently been called off.

According to reporting from FFXNow, when federal contractor Booz Allen Hamilton committed to moving its corporate HQ to Reston Station, its square footage swept up the space that was being considered for Puttshack.

The developer – Comstock Companies – is reportedly working with Puttshack to see if another space can accommodate them, but at this point, there is no firm deal.
