The locally grown Taco Zocalo Mexican chain is expanding once again. This time, its latest location is going to a busy shopping center in Chantilly.
The Burn has learned that Taco Zocalo will be taking a 1,600 s.f. space in the Sully Plaza retail center. That’s right at the corner of Route 50 and Centreville Road.
Longtime readers may recall that Chef Basir, the founder of Taco Zocalo started out with a food truck back in 2012. This led to his first brick-and-mortar location in Reston in 2017.
Since then, the brand has grown to include additional locations in Ashburn, Sterling, Falls Church, and another Chantilly location.
No word yet when the new Taco Zocalo in Sully Plaza will open.
