Baker’s Crust closing Loudoun location permanently

Unfortunate news to report on the Loudoun dining scene as the Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen announces it is closing permanently.

“To our amazing guests, friends, and community, thank you for supporting us during this chapter of our journey,” a note posted to the front door reads, in part. “Our team worked tirelessly to create something special, and your support meant more to us than words can express.”

“Despite these efforts, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors, with our final day of service being December 28, 2025,” the message continued.

The restaurant – located in the Belmont Chase shopping center in Ashburn – will only be open until 2 p.m. daily for its remaining days in business.

The news isn’t the biggest surprise to readers who have watched recent events unfold at Baker’s Crust.

First, they switched to a breakfast-and-brunch model with only morning and afternoon hours. Then they quickly switched back and added evening hours and launched an emphasis on steaks.

Each of these could be viewed as an attempt to turn the tide of a restaurant that perhaps was struggling.

Baker’s Crust, which is based down in the Virginia Beach area, first opened in Ashburn back in 2017.

No word yet what future tenant might take the 4,300 s.f. space that Baker’s Crust is vacating.
