Well, that didn’t take long. It looks like a new tenant has already been found for the former Cafe Rio Mexican Grill spot in Loudoun County.
It was just last week that we reported on the closure of Cafe Rio in the Ashbrook Marketplace shopping center in Ashburn.
Now comes word that the 3,000 s.f. space will soon be the home to a Tous Les Jours French-Asian bakery.
Tous Les Jours – which means “every day” in French – is a South Korean-based brand with reportedly more than 1,600 locations around the world.
Here in Northern Virginia, there are multiple locations including one inside the Lotte Market Plaza supermarket in Sterling and a new one that opened recently in Reston.
The menu at Tous Les Jours features breads, cakes, sandwiches, pastries, coffee beverages, and more. It’s in a similar vein to a Paris Baguette or even a Panera.
The deal is brand new so no word when the Ashburn Tous Les Jours will open. We’ll keep an eye on it and report back.
