A new specialty shop selling nuts and sweets has opened its doors in Reston – and another location is in the works for Herndon.
The store is called Abricott. It’s located in the Reston Town Center, in a small corner space between the Tatté Bakery & Cafe and the North Italia restaurant.
Dried fruits such as banana, apples, oranges, coconut, figs, and more fill the displays. There were wrapped rolls of hazelnut, coffee chocolate, walnut, honey pistachio, rose, and more.
And there were a wide variety of nuts filling dispensers hanging on the walls.
The treats are based on popular items from countries such as Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Greece, and elsewhere in the region.
This is Abricott’s first brick-and-mortar location, but it will apparently not be it’s last.
We’re told the brand’s team is working on a new location near Old Town Coffee on Spring Street in Herndon.
