Some sad news to report – the Chuy’s Tex-Mex restaurant in Sterling is apparently closing its doors, effective this weekend.
We started hearing rumors this week and a Chuy’s team member at the restaurant confirmed that this Sunday, January 11 will be its last day in business.
Chuy’s first opened in the Cascades Overlook shopping center back in 2016. It occupies a free-standing building near the intersection of Benedict Drive and Bartholomew Fair Drive.
Chuy’s is a national chain based in Austin, Texas. Locally, there are locations in Fairfax, Springfield, and Woodbridge, according to the company’s website.
As you might expect – no word yet on what future tenant might take over the Chuy’s location in Sterling.
