Ashburn has a new dining option as of this week – because Juleps Kentucky Tavern has officially opened for business.

As The Burn has been reporting, Juleps is the brainchild of local restaurateur Reese Gardner, who previously operated Ashburn’s much-missed Copperwood Tavern.
Now, he has brought his new Southern cuisine concept to the Loudoun Station center off Shellhorn Road.
The spot used to be the Blackfinn Ameripub and it’s been given a makeover that features leather booths, barrel-shaped light fixtures, and a toile-like wallpaper with hunt scenes on it.
On one wall, the restaurant’s de facto motto is painted – “Ode to Kentucky” – which celebrates “bold flavors, heartfelt hospitality, and the warm, easy charm of the Bluegrass State,” as the Juleps’ website reads.
