The Burn always loves a good logo and we just recently noticed that the Matchbox chain of restaurants has updated their logo and associated colors and fonts.
And the new look came with some tweaks to the Matchbox menu as well.
After soliciting a lot of feedback from guests, the Matchbox team says two things stood out – a desire for more shareable options and more personality from the brand.
“So we leaned in,” said Sarah Zubair, a Senior Brand Manager with Matchbox’s parent company, Thompson Restaurants. “The refreshed match icon and new maroon color palette give a nod to our history while moving toward a more modern, energetic expression of who we are today.”

The menu has seen the return of a fan favorite – the restaurant’s Miso Salmon and they added a new healthy side dishes such as Wood-Fired Heirloom Carrots, Hearth Roasted Wild Mushrooms, and Charcoal Roasted Cauliflower.
They have also revamped the drink menu, including the addition of a Nitro Grey Goose Espresso Martini and a selection of zero proof cocktails as well.

And there is the Box Seat Sampler, a new tower of finger food appetizers available during the restaurant’s happy hour.
You can see the some of the new Matchbox menus – featuring the new logo and colors as well as the new dishes – below.
