Report: Texas Donuts expanding to Ashburn, Chantilly

Big news for fans of the popular Texas Donuts doughnut shop brand. They are reportedly working on multiple new locations in Northern Virginia.

According to our friends at FFXNow.com, Texas Donuts has already secured a spot in Chantilly and they are actively searching for a spot in Ashburn.

The report says they are looking at the Goose Creek Village shopping center in Ashburn, but there’s no definite deal there yet.

The Texas Donuts brand got its start in 2002, not surprisingly, in Texas, before moving on to Oklahoma and then finally setting up shop here in Northern Virginia.

According to the company’s website, there are currently four area locations – in Centreville, Manassas, Lorton, and Vienna.

Now, FFXNow reports they have secured a spot for store No. 5 at 13705 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Chantilly.

The proposed Ashburn location could be No. 6 and they are also reportedly seeking a spot in the Alexandria area.

Texas Donuts is known for its large, yeast-style doughnuts that come with a variety of toppings.

“Baked fresh every morning on-site, 100 percent of our process is done by hand from the moment our USA brand ingredients hit the table to the first bite you take,” the website reads.

The Texas Donuts menu also features specialty pastries, sausage kolaches, croissant sandwiches, and more. You can see the full menu here.

We have a message in to the Texas Donuts HQ for more details on their plans. Stay tuned.
