Sushi Cho starts soft opening in Sterling this week

A long-awaited new sushi restaurant has officially announced the date of its soft opening in Loudoun County.

We’re talking about Sushi Cho – coming to an end unit at the Dulles 28 Centre in Sterling.

It’s taken over the space vacated by the Cubasi Bistro restaurant down near the new Saahil Restaurant, Big Blue Swim School, and the Residence Inn hotel.

This weekend, the restaurant announced that it would start its soft opening this coming Thursday, January 29.

A soft opening is a period of “low” hype before a grand opening, a time to let the new staff get their feet wet, so to speak.

Sushi Cho has been in the works a long time. The Burn first broke the news about its plans for the center way back in April 2024.

The restaurant, which has an original location over in Fairfax, specializes in Japanese dishes including sushi, sashimi, donburi, teriyaki, tempura, katsu, and more.
