A local hotel is considering building a large restaurant addition at its Loudoun County location.
According to paperwork filed with the county, the Embassy Suites hotel in Ashburn is exploring adding a 5,000 s.f. restaurant onto the existing structure.
The Embassy Suites is located at 44610 Waxpool Road.
That’s right next door to the Ashburn Eats restaurant center, which is home to such dining destinations as Moe’s Southwest Grill, the Famous Crab Cake Co., Santini’s New York Style Deli, and Aura Indian Food Paradise.
It’s unclear if the proposed restaurant would be an external brand like we often see attached to hotels – think of the Houlihan’s restaurant that is connected to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Herndon.
Or if this would be an extension of the Embassy Suites’ current in-house restaurant which is named Brickstones Kitchen & Bar.
Right now, the whole thing is just in the early discussion phase. We’ll keep an eye on it to see if the plans move forward.
