New restaurant Dum N Grill planned for Loudoun, Fairfax

A new restaurant chain is planning on entering the Northern Virginia market with not one, but two locations.

It’s called Dum N Grill Indian Fusion Food and it’s headed to both Loudoun County and Fairfax County.

In Loudoun, Dum N Grill will reportedly be taking over the space in South Riding that has been the home to the Burgerim burger restaurant for the past six years or so. That’s at 25150 Loudoun County Parkway.

The owner of the South Riding Burgerim shared that he was closing his store (see our report here) and that Dum N Grill was moving in.

Over in Fairfax County, Dum N Grill is working on a location at the Tysons Corner Center shopping mall.

The menu at Dum N Grill is billed as “a culinary journey through India.”

It includes soups, samosas, pani puri, dosas, curries, kebabs, biryanis, and more. You can check out the full Dum N Grill menu here.

If you’re wondering about the name, dum is a slow cooking method in India where ingredients are cooked over a low heat usually in a sealed vessel.

According to the brand’s website, there is one Dum N Grill location open so far, in Texas. Another nine locations are in the works, including the two NoVa spots.
