It looks like plans are moving forward for an automobile-centric club and community center in Loudoun County going by the name Xavo Motor Club.
The Burn first reported on the proposed club in Ashburn more than two years ago, in late 2023. You can see that report here.
We’ve been watching the plans brewing for Xavo even since and it looks like they finally may be coming to fruition. The hiring of construction crews for the project is getting underway.
Xavo is planned for a vacant parcel of land at 44970 Russell Branch Parkway in the Commonwealth Center development. That’s just to the east of the Topgolf driving range and the XCAL Shooting Sports & Fitness facility.
Plans call for 128,000+ s.f. structure that would include a restaurant and bar, a theater for live musical performances, an event space, a motor vehicle showroom, private storage garages for high-end cars and a members-only motor club.
The motor club will include a lounge and bar, offices, and meeting rooms.
Xavo Motor Club is being designed by Architecture, Incorporated, a Reston-based firm. That’s the same firm that designed the neighboring XCAL.
It’s a big project, so no word on when it might open, but it looks like they are hoping construction will start this summer.
One note – the Xavo Motor Club plans should not be confused with the long-ago plans for a different motor club in Ashburn called Gas Haus. The proposal for that venue did not move forward.
