Nautical Bowls closes its Dulles location permanently

After less than two years in business, one of the Nautical Bowls restaurants in Loudoun County has closed its doors permanently.

We’re talking about the Nautical Bowls at the Dulles 28 Centre in Sterling. And surprisingly we already know what new business is taking over the space.

“Goodbye, friends!” a post on social media reads. “After a lot of thought, we’ve made the tough decision to permanently close our family-run business. We’ve had some really great times here — amazing customers, laughs, long days, and memories we’ll always be grateful for. Unfortunately, the time to move on has come.”

The message goes on to encourage customers to patronize the only other Nautical Bowls in Loudoun County, which is found in the Lansdowne Town Center.

The Nautical Bowls brand specializes in health bowls made with superfruits and grains and various toppings.

The news of Nautical Bowls closing comes on the same day that The Burn has learned that The Difference Baker, a local allergen-free bakery, will be expanding.

The owners are opening a retail shop in the former Nautical Bowls space at the Dulles 28 Centre. See our full report on that developing news here.
