Blazin Chicken & Gyro opens in Loudoun this week

A fast-growing new restaurant brand that specializes in chicken and gyros is ready to open its doors this week in Loudoun County.

Blazin Chicken & Gyro will start its soft opening tomorrow – Tuesday, February 24 – at its new location in Ashburn.

As The Burn reported back in October, Blazin has taken a roughly 3,200 s.f. space in the Ashburn Eats restaurant center.

That’s the same spot with the Moe’s Southwest Grill and the Five Guys off Waxpool Road, a block or so west of Loudoun County Parkway.

Blazin has six locations in New York and New Jersey and now has expanded with two locations in Northern Virginia – Fairfax and Falls Church.

Ashburn will be its third restaurant in the area with another one in Springfield coming soon.

The finishing touches are being put on the new Blazin Chicken & Gyro, which features an eye-catching custom floor design.

The menu at the Ashburn Blazin will feature the chicken wings, chicken tenders, rice platters, gyros, burgers, fajitas, and more that Blazin is known for.

But as we’ve told readers, this Blazin will also have something new that the other NoVa spots don’t have – a separate sweet shop called Blazin Treats.

Blazin Treats offers crepes, bubble waffles, waffle sticks, milkshakes, ice cream, bubble tea, coffee beverages, and more. The Burn taste-tested a signature Cinnamon Roll Latte and can vouch for its deliciousness.

The opening on Tuesday is a soft opening – a time for the new Blazin team to get its service skills down and make sure all is operating smoothly.

A grand opening event is planned for mid-March and Blazin’s owner says he’s going to bring in some big name influencers to help celebrate the new store. Stay tuned for details on that.
