A Maryland-based butcher shop known for its amazing line up of sandwiches is getting ready to open a second location – this time in Loudoun County.
SOKO Butcher Shop & Market has announced it is coming to Leesburg.
SOKO will be taking over the building at 15 Loudoun Street SE. That’s the former La Taqueria taco shop that closed late last summer.
The brand currently has a location in Takoma Park, Maryland.
The butcher shop and market has a food menu as well – one that is certain to pique the interest of many folks in Leesburg.
It includes some two dozen sandwiches – everything from one called the Gobbles with turkey, burrata cheese, red onion, tomato, lettuce, red pepper mayo, and pesto – to a smash burger called the Smashed SOKO with two beef patties, American cheese, and mayo on a potato bun.
The menu also has some breakfast items, salads, wings, and loaded fries. You can see the full version of the Takoma Park menu below.
No official date for when SOKO will open, but work has already started on the building to turn it into the new butcher shop and market.
