A new restaurant is in the works for Ashburn – one that specializes in Indian cuisine and celebrates the flavors of the city of Hyderbad.
It’s called Royal Biryani House and it’s coming to the Moorefield Village retail center off Loudoun County Parkway.
Moorefield Village is the same center with the long-vacant Harris Teeter grocery store, near the intersection of LoCo Parkway and Ryan Road.
It’s taking over a space that was previously home to a similarly-themed restaurant called Cafe Hyderbad.
The menu includes dishes such Chicken Dum Biryani, Egg Biryani, Lamb Tikka Masala, and more.
According to the Royal Biryani House website, there are five locations currently – three in Washington state, one in Texas, and one right here in in Northern Virginia.
That location is in the Woodland Park Crossing shopping center in Herndon.
