Millions of people fondly remember artist Bob Ross and his show, “The Joy of Painting” which aired on public television for years. But not everyone knows that the largest collection of Ross’ paintings are stored in warehouse right here in Northern Virginia.
Ashburn Magazine got a chance to visit the world headquarters of Bob Ross Inc. and see some of the paintings first hand. It’s the cover story in the March issue out this week.
Other articles in the latest edition of this award-winning magazine include a touching look at a vet who helps pets “cross the rainbow bridge” in the comfort of their own homes, a deep dive into the history of the landmark Ashburn Mill, a profile of a new Southern-style tavern in Ashburn, and much more.
Ashburn Magazine is delivered to thousands of homes across the community and is widely available at local businesses including the Giant grocery stores in Ashburn, Blend Coffee Bar, the Ashburn and Brambleton public libraries, the Ashburn Ice House, the Carolina Brothers BBQ, and many others.
