A new boutique cake and cupcake shop is in the works for One Loudoun in Ashburn. It’s called Bake N’ Flake By Swetha.
Bake N’ Flake has been an home-based cake business up until now, but now owner Swetha Aruna is ready to try a brick-and-mortar storefront.
Her new shop will be opening in the Four Corners container park next door to the Uncle Julio’s restaurant at One Loudoun.
The container park features two large shipping containers that have been repurposed into simple storefronts for burgeoning businesses.
“We specialize in fresh cream cakes, gourmet cupcakes, and unique fusion desserts inspired by Indian and global flavors,” Aruna told The Burn. “Some of our signature offerings include Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun, and Rose Pistachio cupcakes along with classic favorites like chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.”
The grand opening of the new Bake N’ Flake store at One Loudoun is this Friday, March 20.
