A big change on the Loudoun County dining scene is officially underway – as the longtime Vino Bistro restaurant prepares to depart and be replaced by a new establishment called Falcon & Fig.
Vino Bistro opened eight years ago at the Village at Leesburg center off Route 7. Now, owner Michael Pearce has announced that he has sold the restaurant to new owners, effective this week.
Pearce will be staying on to help with the transition as the new owners remake the restaurant into their new Falcon & Fig concept.
The new restaurant – which should launch soon – is described as specializing in “Mediterranean-inspired wine and tapas.”
Until the Falcon & Fig team is ready to debut the new restaurant, it will stay open and continue to operate as Vino Bistro. In other words, no down time.
Among the other notes shared by Pearce – Vino Bistro gift cards will continue to be honored by Falcon & Fig, and the Vino Bistro Wine Club will be continuing under the new concept.
“I raise a glass in gratitude for all of you and I look forward to seeing you all around over the coming months,” Pearce said in making the announcement.
