Big news for fans of the popular Twisted Cat Tavern in Loudoun County. The owners are getting ready to expand and open a second location.
The new restaurant and bar will be coming to Lovettville where it is taking over the former Velocity Wings space.
Velocity Wings closed back in January leaving its 3,000 s.f. spot at 20 Town Square ready for a new tenant.
Peter Godden and Doug Dobbins, the team behind Twisted Cat, saw it and decided it was the right spot for their second venture together.
The original Twisted Cat Tavern opened in 2023 facing the main square at the Lansdowne Town Center in the Lansdowne community on the north side of Route 7.
We’re told the Lovettsville menu at the new Twisted Cat should be identical to the one in Lansdowne – the only difference might be that Godden and Dobbins hold off on launching a brunch immediately.

As far as a timeline, the duo just took possession of the space last week and they tell us they are aiming for a June opening if all goes smoothly.
