A new restaurant has recently opened in Sterling and it’s specializing in the cuisine of El Salvador.
It’s called Iris Kitchen and it’s located inside the Lotte Plaza Market grocery store at the Countryside Marketplace shopping center.
That’s near the intersection of Route 7 and Countryside Boulevard.
The menu at Iris includes dishes such as Sopa de Res, Platanos Fritos, Pan Frances Relleno, and Baleadas.
When the Lotte Plaza Market opened in 2023, it included the Sijang Eatery, a food court area with multiple restaurants.
When The Burn visited the other day to check out Iris Kitchen, we noticed that a couple of other kiosks had also changed brands since the opening nearly three years ago.
The Baro Baro Boba Tea Bar and the BB.Q Chicken restaurants are original and still there, but now there is also a Doña Sazon Peruvian restaurant and a Korean eatery called Seoul Fine Korean Cuisine & BBQ.
