Work is officially underway on the new Tous Les Jours French-Asian bakery coming to Ashburn. A peek in the window showed the framing of walls underway and equipment being moved about.
The Burn first broke the news about Tous Les Jours back in December. It is coming to the Ashbrook Marketplace shopping center.
That’s the center off Ashburn Village Boulevard at the intersection with Russell Branch Parkway. Tous Les Jours is taking over the space vacated by the Cafe Rio Mexican Grill.
There are multiple TLJ locations scattered around Northern Virginia, but this will be only the second location in Loudoun County.
The international brand opened one of its bakeries in Sterling inside the Lotte Plaza Market grocery store back in 2023. Other local locations include Reston, Chantilly, and Centreville.
If you haven’t been, TLJ might be compared to a Panera Bread store. There are sweet pastries, savory sandwiches, desserts, coffee beverages, and more.
The name Tous Les Jours – pronounced more or less like “too lay zhoor” – means “every day” in French.
