An Indian restaurant in Herndon has recently closed its doors – and it will soon be replaced by a new Indian restaurant.

Paradise Indian Cuisine has closed its doors at 328 Elden Street. That’s in the same strip center as the Duck Donuts shop.
It will soon become the home of Navarasa by Biryani Grill, a new restaurant from the owners of the Biryani Grill brand which has three locations in the area currently. This includes Ashburn, South Riding/Stone Ridge, and Chantilly.
The team at Biryani Grill describes Navarasa a more “upscale” concept, but still focusing on popular and classic Indian dishes.
We’re talking Butter Chicken, Chicken Dum Biryani, Lamb Chops, Curry Leaf Gobi, Garlic Naan, and Gulab Jamun for dessert. You can see more about the menu at Navarasa here.
The folks at Biryani Grill are busy little bees. Besides the three Biryani Grill locations, they are also partners in the new Amrut restaurant that recently opened in Ashburn’s Brambleton neighborhood.
They are also bringing a new American fusion restaurant called Forefathers to South Riding. You can see our recent report on those plans here.
As far as the new Navarasa in Herndon – no word yet on when they expect to open its doors so stay tuned.
