Update on Pikes Peak Lemonade coming to Leesburg

Opening day is getting closer for the new Pikes Peak Lemonade coming to downtown Leesburg. The gourmet beverage shop is now aiming for a mid-April opening.

Regular readers of The Burn may recall that we first reported on Pikes Peak’s Leesburg plans way back in 2024. And we broke the news in January that they had secured a spot at 106 South Street SE.

The shop will specialize in a variety of different specialty beverages.

“From our signature tap-based lemonades and slushies, to our concentrate and cocktail mixes and seasonal gift boxes, there’s something for everyone to enjoy,” the store’s website reads. “We also serve homemade root beer, Italian sodas, and creative ‘dirty lemonades’ with syrups, cold foam creams, and toppings.”

The local Pikes Peak team had been aiming for an April 1 opening – but as anyone who has ever opened a store or restaurant can tell you – there are often unexpected delays.

Now, they have updated their target to mid-April and the hiring of staff is underway as well.
