We’ve got an update on some news we first reported to you earlier this year about a new Peruvian-Mexican restaurant coming to Herndon.
Back in January, we told readers about the closure of the Qdoba Mexican Eats restaurant at the Worldgate Centre.
At the time, we knew a new charcoal chicken restaurant would be taking over the spot – but we didn’t have any other details.
Now, The Burn has learned that the full name of the restaurant coming to the former Qdoba space is Peruvian Charcoal Chicken & Grill.
According to the company website, it’s part of a growing chain with at least nine other locations open or in the works in Virginia and Maryland.
The menu at Peruvian Charcoal Chicken includes all the favorites – including rotisserie-style chicken (pollo a la brasa), rice, beans, yucca, and more.
There are also Mexican dishes like burritos, street tacos, nachos, and so forth. You can check out the full Peruvian Charcoal Chicken menu here.
We’re still waiting to learn when the new location will open. We’ve got a message in for more information.
