An elegant new furniture showroom called Fitz Fine Furniture is getting ready to celebrate its grand opening next month in Sterling.
As The Burn reported last summer, Fitz has moved into the building at 1100 West Church Road that was previously the IMI Furniture showroom.
“The project represents a full redevelopment of the former IMI Furniture building into a modern furniture showroom and design destination,” said Mike Fitz in an email. “Fitz Fine Furniture is a higher-end furniture showroom featuring premium brands and a no-pressure, non-commissioned sales approach.”
Fitz’ wife, Michelle Fitz, is an interior designer bringing her years of experience to the new business.
While the store is currently welcoming customers in a soft opening phase – Friday, May 15 marks the start of the grand opening celebration. There will be a formal ribbon cutting at noon that day.
