Super Kyuramen starts soft opening in Herndon

A new ramen restaurant has quietly started welcoming customers for its soft opening in Herndon. We’re talking about the long-awaited Kyuramen.

Kyuramen is located at the Arrowbrook Centre off Centreville Road in Herndon.

The Burn first told readers about Kyuramen nearly two years ago – and in that time, the concept has changed just a little bit.

The restaurant is part of a nationwide ramen chain, but this new location in Herndon is what’s being called a Super Kyuramen.

It’s described as a ramen restaurant during the day and an izakaya at night. An izakaya is sort of a Japanese pub where people meet after works for drinks and shared plates of food.

While the soft opening is underway now, a grand opening celebration should be announced soon.

Super Kyuramen joins Paris Baguette, the Peter Chang Chinese restaurant, and the upcoming NH44 Indian Brewing Co. at the Arrowbrook Centre. NH44 is apparently a nod to National Highway 44, the longest highway in India.
