The multi-restaurant chain known as Wonder is getting ready to open its first location in Loudoun County – and now the grand opening date has been announced.
The new Wonder outlet in Leesburg – located at the Fort Evans Plaza II retail center – will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. It will then open its doors at 5 p.m. The first 100 guests will receive a gift.
As The Burn has been reporting – Wonder is a restaurant concept coming out of New York. Multiple restaurant brands offering a wide variety of cuisine all operate out of one kitchen.
We’re talking Chinese food, pizza, fried chicken sandwiches, burgers, Italian cuisine, Greek food, and more.
Patrons order online or at a kiosk and the food is brought out bagged and placed on a shelf. The concept leans heavily towards carryout and delivery orders, but many Wonder locations have a small dining room as well.
The Leesburg location is the first of three planned Wonder outlets in Loudoun County.
Another one is in the works for the Cascades Marketplace shopping center in Sterling and a third is being planned for the Broadlands Village Center in Ashburn.
To avoid confusion, it’s also worth noting that there is an unrelated business also called Wonder in downtown Leesburg. That Wonder is a children’s learning and discovery venue on West Market Street.
