At long last, some signs of progress at the upcoming Mandala Kitchen & Bar in Ashburn. The sign was recently installed on the exterior and construction is ongoing inside the space.
Regular readers may recall that we last reported on Mandala in August of last year.
The Nepalese restaurant is coming to the Old Ashburn Square retail center on Ashburn Road. It’s going in next door to Kirana Pasal, a Nepalese market owned by the same team.
The restaurant had hoped to be ready to open last year, but as with any project of this size, timelines can get drawn out.
Details of the menu are still top secret as well, but on social media they say the restaurant will be “rooted in the Himalayas” and “inspired by South & North India.”
Right now, an opening is just listed as “coming soon.”
