Good things may come to those who wait. It looks like a new gas station and convenience store The Burn first reported on more than two years ago is moving forward.
We’re talking about the plans for a Dash In station and c-store on Loudoun County Parkway. We originally wrote about it in November 2023.
It would be at the intersection of LoCo Parkway and Claude Moore Drive in Ashburn. An artist’s rendering of the store can be seen at the top of this story.
After initial paperwork was filed with the county, we didn’t hear anything for a long time. But it looks the machinery has been slowly grinding forward all along.
In the past month or so, a meeting was held with county officials regarding signage at the new location – part of the process to make sure Dash In can mount the proper signs for its brand.
The Burn is a fan of Dash In – a Delaware-based brand that is expanding into Virginia.
Besides gas pumps and a convenience store, Dash In also includes a full-on fast-food restaurant inside.
The menu includes breakfast sandwiches, burgers, burritos, salads, pizzas, and more. You can see a complete food line-up here.
Still no word on when construction might start or a timeline to opening for the LoCo Parkway location, but at least we know things are still progressing.
There was also previous talk of a possible Dash In near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Gloucester Parkway, also in Ashburn. No update on that location at the moment.
