Loudoun’s new Crimson Coward opens for business next week

(Update: Crimson Coward has postponed its opening until Wednesday, April 29.)

Fans of Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders have a new option in Loudoun starting next week. That’s when the Crimson Coward Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant opens its doors.

The Burn first broke the news about the brand expanding into Loudoun last May. It’s taken a corner unit in the Bellewood Commons shopping plaza in Leesburg.

Now, they are ready to open. The team at the store tells us they will start a soft opening this coming Monday – April 27.

Crimson Coward is a growing brand with roughly 20 locations around the country, including a handful here in Northern Virginia.

The menu focuses on spicy chicken tenders, spicy chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, and other items. You can see the whole food line-up here.

As we’ve mentioned previously, Crimson Coward is opening up right across East Market Street from the similarly-themed Hangry Joe’s hot chicken restaurant.

We imagine more than a few diners will stopping at one and then the other and putting them to a taste test – our own local version of “Pat’s or Geno’s” from Philly.
