It looks like a longtime Indian restaurant in Loudoun County has closed its doors. We’re talking about Chopathi India Kitchen in Ashburn.
The restaurant, located in the Goose Creek Village shopping center, is locked up and there is an eviction notice hanging on the door.
Meanwhile, the Google listing for the restaurant says “Permanently closed,” the Facebook page is offline, and the phone number is out of service.
We’ve got a message into the landlord for more details, but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s probably closed for good.
Chopathi originally got its start in the food court at the Dulles Town Center shopping mall before moving to a space at Goose Creek in 2016.
It operated both a fast casual Indian restaurant as well as an Indian-themed bar next door. All total, it had nearly 5,000 s.f. of space – which will leave a big vacancy in the center.
