The new German-style döner kabob restaurant coming to Loudoun County is getting closer to opening day and now we have a little more information about the menu.
We talking about Hakiki German Döner – a new doner restaurant coming to the South Riding Market Square. The Burn told readers about it back in March.
Now, we’re learned that the menu at Hakiki will include a build-your-own option, much like a Chipotle or a Subway where you can customize your doner the way you like it.
According to the restaurant’s nascent website, customers will be able to chose from a traditional döner, which is served on pita-style bread, or they can choose a döner wrap, or even a döner bowl thus avoiding the carbs.
From there, they can choose their main ingredient such as chicken, beef and lamb, and falafel. This is followed by toppings like onions, red cabbage, feta cheese, plus various sauces including spicy and garlic.
While we know more about the food that will be available at Hakiki, we still don’t have an opening date. But they continue to promote they are “opening soon.”
