After months of prep work, a new country market and restaurant has announced it is officially opening its doors today – Thursday, May 14.
We’re talking about Staples Grocery Kitchen & Provisions, which has taken the former Roots 657 spot at 42301 Spinks Ferry Road, north of Leesburg. That’s just off Highway 15 near Lucketts.
Plans at Staples call for a morning menu of fresh pastries, espresso drinks, and waffles, omelets, and more.
At lunch, the menu transitions to sandwiches, soups, salads, and items from the grill such as burgers and other items. In the evening, a dinner menu prevails including a full bar.
Meanwhile, Staples Grocery also lives up to its name with its onsite market offering many of of the staples that neighbors in the region need quickly without making a run all the way into Leesburg.
The hours for the grand opening today are 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
