The May/June issue of Ashburn Magazine is hitting mailboxes this week – and it’s the biggest issue of the magazine ever – a full 100 pages.
Of course, that’s due in great part to the Best of Ashburn contest. Earlier this year, readers and local residents voted for their favorite people, places, and businesses in Ashburn and the results are in this issue.
There are also a bunch of great stories too – including a profile of the family that bought the Carolina Brothers BBQ restaurant, an all-women’s hockey team at the Ashburn Ice House, an award-winning father-daughter photography team, the new CEO of EatLoco Inc. which puts on the two big farmers markets in Ashburn, and Beemer, a 20 year-old Jack Russell terrier who is having a moment in the spotlight.
